Riddled Love

by David ODonnell   Jun 9, 2008

Speak to me so I understand
Dont stray your words with riddles.
So child like and so little
Dont plague your words with riddles.

Im not dumb nor am I smart
I speak my mind from my broken heart
I cant engage what you might say
When all your words have drifted away

So talk to me and express your words
And dont be so unclear.
I cant avoid this nonsense code,
When you are always here.

Dont act as if you dont know
My confused mind is a sign.
Well we tried to talk it out so slow
And you gave in, and thats just fine.

But dont speak to my in riddles
I cant control my feelings
How can I return my answer
When I dont even know the meaning.

Dont speak to me
I cant control
How can I
When I just dont know
