The Sky Is Crying [duex]

by girl next door   Jun 9, 2008

The sky is crying.
Rainbows are showing,
Red, yellow, blue and green.
And there she is just sitting on the bench as she thinks to herself,
What would it be like if he was here, just sitting down next to her.

She would do what it takes,
For one simple grace,
Of his red rose lips upon hers.
Or even just one more glance
Of his honey glazed eyes
Would be enough to rule the world.

She has been patient for so long
But still he walks past her in the hall.
Who would know that she was always there watching him go,
Walking into the distance.

Today she still sits on that bench.
Looking at the cloudless sky leaning on the only one she ever wanted.
Him.
