you sighed with shrugs
i gave you my soul
you handed me an empty bowl
i gave you everything
heartless you kept on walking

i gave you happiness
you recall in forgetfulness
i gave you my hand
you slipped away in a scam
i gave you my tears
you gave me fears

i gave you poetry
every letter bled in your dirty laundry
i gave you flowers
dry petals died on the counter
i gave you compliments
you gave me eye arrangements

i gave you my love
you gave me grudge
i gave you my world
you gave me a mocking bird
i gave you my secrets
you gave me sad lyrics
