Unwritten

A young girl so scared and shaken
afraid of whats to come
praying everything will be okay
regretting ever having fun

a boyfriend trying to be strong
still inside he worries
acting like theres nothing wrong
even though the rain is pouring

two souls, so young and once carefree
now struggle to smile once again
hoping for an answer
an answer that will make the storm end

their stomaches start to turn
and their knees become weak
the tears start to fall
its getting hard for them to breathe

the anxiety is overwhelming
the stress is beyond normality
the pain and the suffering
can this be reality?

still through all the trials
they stay strong until the end
but until the end is near
the rest is left unwritten.
