A Behind the Scenes Thank you

We all stand here together
As we have for many nights
We've put up with so much
From sweat, to tear, to lights

We've gritted through that pain,
the sorrow, and self-doubt
We've struggled through each practice
Even when we were worn out

We have gone through everything
From deodorant, to splinters, to ice
We've dealt with all the worry
May have said thing that weren’t nice

We've had the bumps, the bruises,
the troubles, and the strife
We've fought the blocking problems
To live a thespian's life

Now on this night we must stand
United cast and crew.
We never could have come this far
Without a director quite like you

    To tears.
    through 'this pain'
    don't need , in the sorrow and self doubt
    said things that weren't nice
    and the strife take out the comma

    this was a rather funny poem i think it was cleverly put together i thought the poem was about friendship until i got to the end and the title was just a metaphor. but i liked it i have some changes though i listed them above :)

    I like the message in this one...
    you made some very nice points
    i love the stanza
    "Now on this night we must stand
    United cast and crew.
    We never could have come this far
    Without a director quite like you"

    it was quite and ending super job there!!!
