While I was out walking today a sobering thought entered my head.......
....if anything happened to you, the happiness we now share would leave me forever
How would I manage to live in peace with myself through any day?
My very heartbeats were whispering to me saying - I would have no future.
Orchid Lady, I would live in a world where birds would no longer sing their songs
Days would be endless and the sky would be forever overcast with clouds
There would be no sun or moon; stars would never shine; nor would rivers flow
Sweetheart, without you I would be engulfed in an unknown sandy barren desert.
Quickly I change my thoughts to you and of the times we spend together.......
....of the times we have held each other closely; bound in the love we openly share
This yearning I have for you grows stronger each time we are apart -
As I walk through the park I can feel you walking beside me and I am at peace.
In my vivid mind the fire is burning brightly and I am lying so happily beside you
Orchid Lady I am lost in your magic and the wonderful warmth of your body
Our shadows are dancing in their own love story; transported by the flames of the fire
You look so beautiful and your touch arouses passions within me that only you can.
As I walk home I say a silent prayer for the angel who accepted my hand.......
....I realise how fortunate I am to have you as my partner through life
Sweetheart I will be bringing you a bunch of delicate red orchid flowers.......
....knowing not one of them will ever look as beautiful as my Orchid Lady.
