If I left this deserted place,
For a town with smiles and hugs.
Moved to a closer space,
With a few glasses, plates and mugs.
What would you say?

If I showed up at your door,
Arms open and smile wide.
If I hadn't told you before,
But yet I wasn't sorry I tried.
What would you say?

If I told you of my dream,
Of a yearning unknown.
Called to you with a scream,
So that love could be shown.
What would you say?

Questions I can only dream of asking,
For I am afraid for you to know.
Of these wierd feelings I'm masking,
A thought I never wish to go.

I beg to know what you would say,
But not today, nor tomorrow.
But some other day.
