I cant see
all is black
have i gone blind
no
the world has died
it went out like a light
no sign no warning
no quakes or fires
no wind or rain
no one saw it coming
but we are to blame
we abused are planet
our gift from the gods
we used all it had
and never gave back
we fought against each other
and didn't worry about the damage
everything we did
could have been avoided
if only we'd been
nice to each other
as quick as we started
we brought the end
we didn't understand
that our lives
were in our hands
