Unspoken words

by Spoken Silence   Jun 11, 2008

Unspoken Words.

You can't speak yet,
And nor can you crawl,
Your words are unspoken
As you lay dormant in your mom.

You were created as a "mistake" they said,
But you had no choice in the matter,
You just did what you did.

So with one single choice,
And in one single day,
Your life was ended,
You didn't even have a say.

This child could have cured cancer,
Or stopped another war,
You never even gave it a chance,
Just ended it like that.

She could have been famous,
And put smiles on peoples faces.
Or he could have invented a machine,
To save the human race.

They could have done something,
Something bigger than anyone of us could be.
But in one single moment,
Without a thought. A life was ended without a cost.

You can't speak yet,
But I will talk for you.
You can't crawl,
But I will stand up for you.
I won't let this happen,
For you could have been great.
I'm ending this now, because you were never a mistake.
