ADHD

I have ADHD.
It can be hard some times.
I can get overly hyper and forget things.
It's hard to concentrate on my schoolwork.
But I dont let it control my life.

Its not a deadly horrid disorder.
You cant catch it just be touching me.
You can only get it if you are born with it.
It's nothing to be afraid of.
Trust me I know.

Some people judge me because of it.
They think "huh she cant succeed in anything."
That's what my doctors said when I was first diagnosed.
They said that I wouldnt be more then a C student.
I sure did shock them.

I'm getting all A's in history.
I'm getting B's and A's in English.
The same in algebra.
Heck I'm even getting B's in Portugues class.
And no one thought it was possible.

I Have ADHD and I am as normal as could be.
Because what is normal really?
Everyone is normal in their own specail way.
I dont wish that I didnt have ADHD.
Because then I just wouldnt be me.
