Beautifully Broken.

by CourtneyyContageous   Jun 11, 2008

The cracks where the light shone through,
are now covered in a thick gray haze.
The blissful summer sun,
No longer comes around these days.

The once smiling face,
of a girl with a dream.
Is now a faded picture,
running through the dark blue stream.

The color in her eyes,
now fades to black and white.
Waiting for someone to bring her back,
The flame that would ignite.

She's beautifully broken,
no tears in which she cries.
She takes each day little by little,
While inside she slowly dies.

She is beautifully broken,
no hand in which to hold.
She has been abandoned,
her body growing cold.

She's beautifully broken,
too far down to save.
She lives for the pain,
that she suffers each day.
