Running

by ilikepurple222   Jun 12, 2008

There's only silence.
Friendships broken.
Others that are in the process of being mended.
Or at least we thought they were.
Things got better for awhile there.
But then they just stopped.
It's like when a tornado comes out of nowhere.
It'll be there for a short time,
but then you look back,
and it's gone.
A lot like life.
That's how our friendship was.
You're there for me.
And I for you.
But only when the sky's clear.
Why is that?
Why is it that when life gets tough,
You run away?
You won't let anyone in.
You're only hurting yourself in the end.
Losing grip of a friendship that was once held onto so tightly.
When there's a problem,
You don't bother with it.
Even if it hurts someone else.
Why do you keep running?
