I absolutely love this metaphor! How she can't move on, she can't keep her promise to turn on because the song won't end. Its beautifully sad but so true. I love the meaning of this poem. 5/5

Very clever this metaphoric poem, well thought out and constructed on a cassette player, playing a love shared song which in most loving relationships we inherit. I can still recall mine ('Young Girl by the Union Gap') from a lost love that lasted nearly 30 years I love this and yes nothing last forever or does it, I am still in love with that person, but life goes on and I now have a new love and wife but I do get the odd twinge. Great
