Breathless

Laying breathless on broken concrete staring blankly at the sun
Praying she will go blind so she won't see him with anyone......
Losing everything she thought she once was and turning cold.....
All because she's afraid to love she'd rather be alone....

The beat of her heart is becoming less and less...
Finally she convinced herself this is all just a big mess....
Swore she would never commit suicide
Because she's to afraid to die...

The clouds are forming and it's soon to rain..
She's to afraid to show others her pain...
As the tears start she trys to breathe and she attempted to speak...
The only words she couldn't understand..."Why doesn't he love me"

Slowly as time stoped and waited for her to understand....
She decided she would no longer pretend
The clouds will dissapear and the sun will shine again....
All because I know I can live without him...

But until the day I wake and he's not the first thing on my mind....
I will stay here and look for something I'll never find...
Breathe in slowly and breathe out fast...
While I will forget you and my past..
