For you

My new sister who walks with darkness

part of her it seams

i long to break her away from it

destroy its influence in her life

have her no longer fear

or need to soften the pain

to have her one day find her love

but not within me, for unworthy am i

my solitary wish is for her to be happy

and be with Him

so for my new sister i say but this

You mean much to me,

as a newborn takes its first steps

i now see you walking tentatively into faith

and just as the baby's walk

i will accompany it with joy
