My best friend

When we meet I thought you through and I knew
that you would be true.

all those happy hours we spent, how dearly it has
meant.

we have been through thick and thin and now we have
got the best of things.

as time goes on I see us grow apart however I know
that two friends like us will always be part of each other.

with out you can be like rain without clouds and sun without
shine.

that can be strange to say so but then the feeling slowly goes
due to the fact that knowing you is simply all I want to know.

not many people have best friends
so now I know you thought I was special

and now our happiness never ends every time
we each turn a bend.
