Escaing winters freeze

by kiara   Jun 13, 2008

Upon the sights where one must dream
Afar the battles and tears unseen
The autumn leaves a float and lost
Tumble like acrobats awaiting the frost
The scenes of merriment so obscure and strange
Coax whispering mirrors into utter derange
Their whispers so cold affront the wind
And awaken the thoughts of how mother had sinned
For it being eldest saw only destruction
Whilst the brother leaves fell for earths seduction
Every year they heard mothers call
And leaped with joy as they pranced to a ball
With longing and desire they would take their final bow
And with a hymn of joy would avow
To see the sights atop a hill
And feel the cloudy skys embracing chill
To the wind theyd laugh and tease
For they just escaped the winters freeze
