The Past Will Never Leave

Feelings of depression,
anger,
jealousy and rage,
feelings just turning through my veins.

Reminding myself of the past,
and the way he treated me,
another notch in the bedpost,
for all his friends to see.

Now that I've moved on,
I thought I left it all,
no matter how hard I try,
it follows me.

The lies,
deceit,
love and all,
and the rage he left in me.
