Of Jade Oceans

by StandStill   Jun 14, 2008

There's a place far away
in a land long forgot,
where the water is cool
and the breeze blows in hot.

The sea birds cry loud,
duet with waves' song,
the air's painted silky.
The sun's tender arms long.

Ocean sings joy,
as she hugs the sand hard.
Clear sky caresses seaweed,
as seashells burst into shards.

If you close your eyes, dearest,
you can hear the waves play.
Starburts of sunsets;
Land of the starfish and water fae.

**hooray for mexico...Cozumel, to be exact.**
