The one at which
everyone stares.

Her mother tries to blow it off,

If only people looked inside,
and not right at her hair.

Then they would see the beauty
of oddly colored hair.

Children gawk,
Teenagers laugh,
Parents Fear,
Old people Fuss.

But why can't people understand
the girl with purple hair?
