You shoud've listened to me

We haven't talked in two months this time

I ask you how was your day, Good you reply but you ain't worried bout mines

You're more focused on your man rather than your own flesh and blood

You say it seems like I got a problem with you, well what do you expect to come from a person who by you feels unloved?

I tried so hard to forgive and put this situation behind me

But I can't continue to forgive you for this mess repeatedly

Can't you see he's got you brain washed, you can't even think on your own

You get fussed at, yelled at because of him but then you still sneak on the phone

With the same person that just got you on punishment for several weeks

But you can't even pick up the phone to call the person that gets you out of trouble just to speak?!

But in the end you'll see who is/was sincere

And when you find out that person's me I don't want you to come cryin' in my ear

Telling me how he's hurt you, how he's hurt you bad

How he makes you sit at home every day depressed and sad.

You should've listened to me from the start

And if you continue these games he's gonna break your heart

Then maybe you'd want my advice, my honesty

And all I'm gonna say is I told you so, you should've listened to me.
