I do not miss you

by JCV   Jun 15, 2008

I do not miss you as the darkness envelops
the place in which i stand
nor in seconds of agitation and despair
not when in solitude i seek desperately
to find a trace of your memory
never in the unforgiving depths of my soul

and yet in each light that touches the leaves of the trees,
in the breeze that softly caresses the dusts in the winds,
in the air that passes through my nostrils,
i feel you.

i do not miss you when the mind controls
each fragment of my thoughts
rather in moments of uncertainties,
when the body lies open to inner beauty and acceptance.
