I really, really like this poem. It's powerful and so vivid, portrayed with amazing descriptions. I like your choice of words from the beginning to the end, along with the message of the poem. I like how it goes from darker tones to its complete contrast.

I usually don't prefer rhyming poetry but here, the rhymes worked very well.
I find this poem quite original, metaphorical in a great way.
