Tell me how to let you go

by LadzOfSoul   Jun 16, 2008

I can still remember the love we shared
On how you touched my hands, it shown you cared
The way we laugh, the way we stare
Wishing somehow it stays this way

Then you came, down on your knees
Asking for forgiveness cause something has changed
You said the feeling is not the same
How you lost your feelings, you never said

I'm standing in front of you, looking at your face
I can't stand the pain I felt inside
Baby it's killing me, would you give me some time?
For my world crushed down as you said those lines

What do you want me to do?
Do you expect me to stop loving you?
Cause this heart is too stubborn to follow
And baby, I'm just too fragile to let go

Very nice poem. It's so hard to let go and it seems that the heart never heals, but instead loses a piece and becomes a bit less carring. I think that gave the perfect image of how it happens.

Amazing poem! Simplicity truly shown beneath these lines and yet the fragileness of our hearts continue to cause only ruptures and pain.
