Thinking of You and Her

by Rebecca   Jun 16, 2008

These bloodstains won't wash away,
And the scars burn deep in my veins.
The floor is cold as I lay here,
Thinking of you and her.
I could've been the girl that you ran to,
But instead I was just that girl,
The one who wanted more.
And as I lay here thinking of you and her,
The cuts burning deep,
I could see her lively face.
And as I lay here thinking of you and her,
I realize how much I need you.
But as I lay here, bleeding,
I think of how many times I could have told you,
Those three little words.
And as I lay here,
Slipping away,
I realize that I'm in love with you
