condemning
cursing my very name
did i not warn you of the pain to reap?
yet you chased me all the same.
when you called me,
did i not answer
and served you at your feet?
all i asked was this:

was it my fault then
when i had to go
and left emptiness behind?
you chose to see,
when i left you blind,
the illusions of the mind.
it made you question my wondrous wok
and gave malice to my means,
it made you doubt the way you feel
this is
the root of your ordeal.
i tried to save you
i tried to serve to please you
i gave you all that i could give,
but lies have caught you
called and controlled you
and so
i had to leave

yet you learned to cease to listen
you used and bruised me
and so
our bond, now broken,
end
so when you cry
condemn
and curse,
"love you brought me misery!"
know that it was i
who allowed you to see
what it meant to once be
truly
happy
