An Infatuation That Grows

by yblehs   Jun 16, 2008

I long to see your face
to feel you presence
to enclose on our space
to look into you eyes
to know that I'm your chase

I want to feel you hand in mine
to escape the world and enter yours
to see your smile shine
to know every fear entered in you
to smell your scent like wine

I need to hear your soothing voice
to know where I stand with you
to know if we are making a right choice
to forget finalitties from the past
to tell you how you make me rejoice

    I liked this one.
I think you should get rid of all the to's in there though. I think it would make the poem sound a lot better. And add more emotion to the poem

This poem said everything. I could tell where you were coming from and how much you long for this person's love. It's amazing. I know how it is to be infatuated with someone. Great work, 5/5

I didn't grasp infatuation from your poem
not in a since. your poem felt as if the "speaker" was making a rash decision
as if she wasn't thinking clearly. but
who am i to judge based on a title.
the poem it's self was fairly well written
i like the selfishness in the poem the
want to be the only one with him it
beings true human feelings into the mix.
I have read to many false felt love poems
that were nothing more than pretty words
i liked this poem and keep up the good
    work.
    thanks for the read
