I'm dying inside,
I think I've hidden it too well,
They don't notice how,
I'm reaching for a grip.

I can act so normal,
When everyone can see,
But when I'm away,
I just break down.

I'm waiting for that someone,
To realize how much pain I'm in,
I'm on uneven ground,
That could break at any moment.

I'm fighting battles,
I'm not even equiped to win,
The only defense I have,
Is to curl up into a ball.

I wish for someone to take notice,
Someone who understands,
How hard it is to let go,
When you love them so much.
