Unnoticed

by brie kelly wise   Jun 17, 2008

Right now I'm looking out my window and watching the world go by
Sometimes I wonder if everything would be different if we all knew how to fly
Would cars race past each other in attempt to reach their destination in calculated time?
Or would there be millions of wings in the air, guiding their own life?
Attempting their own fate.

To all those girls out there who had to change
You had no choice, you had no reign
You wander around now in a tender place
Let's face it, he has a little shame built up
But you're still his little girl that changed his ways

To all those children on the streets
Tired and worn living on your feet
But we're praying every for peace
It's all just a matter of time, I promise
You're still the angels that we hope to meet

Right now I'm looking out my window and watching the world stop
Sometimes I wonder if everything would be different if the fire was turned off
Would we race past each other, each and every emergency going unnoticed?
Or would there be millions of wings in the air, each living a sweetened life?
Attempting their own happiness.
