Oh my gosh. I love this poem. My answer... Yes! Definatly! Haven't we all? This poem is amazing because I could relate to it so much, and even the person above me could as well. I bet everyone could. Well done. :) I love poems I can relate to. 5/5.

I pretty much agree with the other people, I really liked the message which is portrayed in a powerful way. I like the way you write as well, I don't know, there's just something there. And I guess that little extra is what everybodys looking for, huh?

"Have you ever loved someone so much
That you would do ANYTHING for them"

well... i guess everyone will find some one for whom they can do anything... whom they will love like anything...

    "Without a backward glance
    And your empty inside
Your whole life has been shattered"

^^ I guess could many could relate to this... when you lose ur love.. nothing can be more painful then that...

"But the truth of the matter is
    You can't do anything
    It's over...... "

    ^^ this is very touching...

    good write...

This is a great poem but i have a suggestion - it isn't written like a text like some are but your should be you're in the line about being empty inside, and about hoping since you're gone, so the 2nd-to-last in the 2nd verse and 1st in the 3rd verse. back to the actual poem: the last line of the first verse is a litte wordy, like you're bending over backwards to make it fit, but the meaning is good.the whole poem is really relatable, to me at least, and the whole second verse is brilliant, especially the lines "But as quick . . empty inside". sorry to pull it apart like that, but with a little work it could be really brilliant! good job :)

Good job. There's two ways I can critique this poem. As an ordinary reader, the subject if very straightward and the emotions are pouring out of the words--which is good.
As a poet, if you could add a little bit more imagery, or sensory words to describe those emotions, that would be even better. I'll take the first stanza:

Have you ever loved someone so much
    That death's trickery couldn't match,
A bullet would swerve; be taken by someone
In the name of love's strange ways.
    They are your world
And if gone, the earth and sky would crumble
    As of your dreams.
