The Day You Walked Away

by Tyler Durden   Jun 17, 2008

I regret the day you walked away.
I did nothing wrong;
You went with no goodbye.
Now theres no one helping me along.

There was no "see you later",
no "I'll see you around";
You just stopped, and went.
No pick up from lost and found.

I expected a lot from you.
But more than you could give;
Its been a long time.
Long enough to forgive.

We expect our family, and our friends
to live all the way to forever;
But sadly this is not true.
Else we would still be together.

If only it was.
If life hadn't given up on you;
I would still have fought on,
And would never have lost you.

    Oh baby. you don't even know how heavy this poem makes my heart right now. It was beautiful and tragic at the same time. I loved it.

    For the record, I never, not once took anything you ever said or did for me for granted. I appreciate it all, even now.

    Love you,

    I understand what your saying, totally. But the point Im getting at is that everyone you know isnt going to be there forever. Whether you fall out, stop talking or someone dies... dont take that time for granted.. lol

    If you dnt work for what you want you will never get it or you will but they will leave you.Just like if u give someone your heart and not have them work for it they will break it but if they work for it they will take better care of it then if u just handed it to them! I liked it a lot hope u understand what i am trying to say. 5/5
