Troubled tea time.

by ghosts in bloom   Jun 18, 2008

The afternoon whizzed around my head.
the arms of Sun tightly holding to my sticky body.
in the thick air I saw honey shade ---
hovering, buzzing; and wanted tea.
the craving hit my face with each
sigh of wind --- ah. ah. ah.
singing legato. singing high.
as I stepped inside the genre changed.
step, stomp, creak, bang. big band swing
assisted me inside the house, through the door.
staccato bass notes followed me,
thumping around the kitchen, until
I found the mugs. --- then cradling in my hand
its porcelain figure: I stepped out of rhythm.
water, microwave, ~ momentary vocal hum.
Mm, almost prepared, the beige liquid escape.
now only to find by memory the vase and spoon.
slide, slam. slide, slam. reach ... scrape. scurry.

Oh. I'm out of sugar. :[

I liked your imagery in this piece. The flow was right on and I could totally imagine this feeling great job. I really liked the end that was probably my favorite part if I had to choose one it was just really cutesy for me.
