Cerebral Chimes.

What scattered thoughts there are,
in the flutter of their wings;
-------------------------------the birds.

do they not know to where
they aim their feathered bodies?
or perhaps they count
each up and down;
calculating futures within
their beady eyes.

not so, I think ...
for I hear resolution in their song.
an innocent beauty that memory cannot possess.
though in flight they are eager,
(if only to move with rapid winds)
it is in their branched stillness
they can be understood.

what simple answers there are,
in the clasping of their feet;
--------------------------------the birds.

    An Interesting write, but deff well worth the read. I liked how you spaced 'the birds' with dashes, it was almost as if they were flying and fluttering their wings. Well written, keep up the great work. :]
