The belly of the sea lie cold and hungry,
until the creatures were fed to it's whaling mouth:
who satiated azul cravings with complimentary color.
did the waters themselves design skeletal plans
or earn 10 fish with each island they shaped?

the heart of the sky sprawled empty and burning,
until clouds pinched the blindness out of it's cheeks,
and benefits fled through its now freckled face.
did the sky himself gain such a reward
by standing so brightly while not blinking his eyes?

or was it just love, whose hands painted space,
where none there was, but blackness to behold?
