Sweet soul, sweet life
i hold inside
each day brings you near
i wonder what gifts
you'll bring to earth
you gifted me with love
even before birth
i sit and dream of you
of who will you'll be
will i recognize you
and you, me
did we once love and laugh
before these lives
will i see heaven's light
in your new eyes
were we once friends and now...
in different roles
one the mother, one the child
