I've lost my love.

by Spoken Silence   Jun 18, 2008

I've lost my love to a stronger force than I.
No longer will I hear your voice,
Or look at the sparkle in your eyes.
I would've traded my soul for you to live, were I given the choice.

We never had enough time,
All those times we kissed will always be missed.
I would give everything from every cent, to every dime.
For you to live again, for us to be in our own abyss.

I've lost my love to a stronger force that I,
There is nothing I can do to bring you home.
And with my love he took my heart
As he slowly died.

Another poem about death!! Should I be worried?

I like the powerful meaning in this. Love being an all conquering force, except death holds the ace card in deciding when we depart this mortal life.

    Well done
