A Box Full of Memories

An old box sits on her shelf covered in dust particles,
She wipes it off and opens it up with tears in her eyes.
She examines it carefully and remembers then what the box contains.

The memories within this box are so close to her heart.
These memories are just a beginning of what she felt for you,
She will never forget the special moments that were shared between two beautiful people.

It contains negatives, a camera, and a few pictures.
She picks up the negatives and looks at them carefully.
They are fragile as she runs them through her fingers softly.
She senses your presence as she continues to look at them.

She puts down the negatives and then picks up the camera.
It's the camera she always used to capture those moments.
She brushes the dust off of it and examines it like she did the pictures.
She snaps a picture of herself with mascara smeared down her face.

Finally she puts down the camera after a long while, and picks up the pictures.
The pictures are faded so much she can hardly tell what the picture is.
She sighs and begins to cry even harder.
All those times she spent with you are almost gone for good.

This box will always stay with her no matter what.
It contains a big part of her that she never plans to let go.
It shows all the great moments she spent with you that will never disappear.
They will always stay in this box for her to look back on in the future.
