    This is only the second poem of yours I have read and can see how deeply you hold your emotions. A friend is treasured just as you have treasured our Lord.

    You wiggled your toes , you caress my hopes.

    This use of personification was very good, and the imagery of the place was good too, however, I felt both drawn to and disconnected from the place. Maybe try to go into detail a little more. I think that that would bring more life to the poem.
