In Dreams I See

by H E Losey   Jun 19, 2008

In dreams I see
A sight so long deprived of me

I see your eyes
so understanding
I see your smile
so undemanding
I see your hair
so silken-gold
I see green eyes
my love to hold
I see your arms
outstretched and waiting
I see myself
rushing, unhesitating
I see these things
And I believe
I see what waits
our love to conceive

In my dreams I see
A sight, so dear, deprived of me.

Wow. Excellent job describing your dreams of this one individual. The flow of this poem was very well also, the rhyming made it flow along so quickly..Great job, 5/5.
