Silent Scream

by Amaranthine   Jun 19, 2008

Ah... Silence

To those who cannot here the many eerie cries of the night,
Shall I let thee know me? Or keep it silent?

Will thou not suffer if ye hear my cries?

Am I ignorant to let thy eyes see?

I am screaming, and yet, no one can here me.

It feels as if my lungs are being torn apart.

Now out of breath on a cold winter night.

Dying on the inside...
My mind exiled from the world.

Do I fear silence? Can anyone hear my cry?

Shall I take the beat of my own heart away?

To them, tis only a child's whisper.

And no one listens to only but a child.

Does anyone know of this pain I suffer today?

Will there be a person to stand true? To help me?

Wait! I think I hear someone calling out to me.

In the distance...
But, aren't I alone?

"Doust thou understand me? Tis not only a flesh
wound." I called out.

"Aye!" this person replies to me.

"You are walking a lonely dark path my friend,

but I shall be there to help thee."

"Nay, wouldn't thou also suffer my shame?"

Ah, but do you see? This person has suffered more than I.

Now I know that life is only but a struggle to the next.

All you need is someone to help you along the way.

Does thy still fear the darkness within my soul ?

Does thy still fear the silence in all that I know?

NO!

I shall never feel weak again,

because I have what is called a friend.

    Woah
you changed it since I last saw it I think O_o
lol I still loves it though

I've always liked the expression and feeling you put behind this one. It could use some structural work I think...like in some parts the way its typed out makes it a lil difficult to understand all the way...but other than that I love it...its like one of my favs that you've written
