Best Friend

I have this wonderful friend
Who has been with me to no end.
He has something that no one else has.
Gained my trust and loyalty.
How he has no one would understand.
I can tell him anything, even about my past.
He doesn't necessarily judge, but understands and gives advice.
If i did something stupid I'm sure he'd let me know.
He can be pretty serious, he even shares his life.
I appreciate him so much, his mind always seems to grow.
Standing for peoples crap is something he doesn't do.
He returns the feelings others give to him.
Talking to him lets me escape the "world.
He's helped me out the last few months.
I'm not sure if he knows it but he means a lot.
He's the type of guy that will never be too far,
I will always keep him close to my heart.
Friends like that you don't let go of, the ones who matter most.
All the inside jokes we share,
All the sad and happy moments we hold so dear.
Everything we went through in the last few days,
Is now just a memory, a dark gray haze.
He makes me laugh even on a bad day.
When my heart falls a part he glues it back together,
He will never or can ever be replaced by another.
What can I say life would suck without him!
I just want to say thank you for being there.
Maybe he will wonder why I wrote this poem,
Well...I just wanted him to know how much I love him.
