Until the Very End

There he goes again,
Cold to the bone, walking away.
Leaving her in tears, without a word,
Forgetting every thing she wanted to say.

He hurts her, she loves him,
She just wishes he could see..
Every thing through her eyes,
All that he could be.

He tells her to just give up,
But her good natured heart is full of love.
She will always be there, no matter what,
Nothing is hopeless, he just needs a little shove.

They weren't meant to be a couple,
They're better off just as friends.
However, she will always care for him,
Right up until the very end.

She'll pray for him every night,
So hard, with all of her might.
Hoping someday, he'll finally be happy,
With someone to hold him ever so tight.

Yeah.. not what you expected, huh? =) This is actually a poem I wrote about my ex-boyfriend Ray. He really needs someone right now. He tells me to just give up on him, but I want him to know I will always be there for him. No matter what. Not as a girlfriend though, but as his friend. Thanks for reading. <33
