Homecoming Hero: The End pt. 2 of 2

by Jack Nightengale   Jun 20, 2008

As he packs up to ship out,
Hoping to make it home, to see his brother go to the prom.
He starts to hear his fellow soliers shout.
He looks up, only to notice the dropping of bombs.

He rushes to his team,
Only to find out that three of ten are dead.
One had a lot of plans, and the others had dreams.
His heart broken, as he looks down to find himself standing in a pool of red!

As the war gets more and more intense,
As the gernades and bombs roam,
The smoke and fire gets more and more dense,
As this Homecoming Hero will never come home!
