Jim

I met a man today
A peaceful man some might say
A crazy life from yesteryear
Turned to quietude as dusk draws near

Used to be a puff on a pipe for peace to come
And when the stars were near they'd ask for some
Now down on his knees
Only God to please

So upon his knees day and night
He prayed to God with all his might
To do something about his loneliness
And to alter his life, which was a mess

Now into his life has come
Abundant joy from everyone
Whose life he touched from day to day
As for them, for peace he prays

So thank Jim for what you do
I think I say for others too
So may you,by the good Lord be blessed
And touched by His holiness

So we thank you Jim for who you have been
And that you have found the man within
