Pure Magic

I take a deep breath,
As my fingertips touch the keys.
I lose myself in the music,
As I play my favorite melody.

The pain I no longer feel,
And my mind's a little more at ease.
My heart is now content,
And the pain in my eyes you no longer can see.

I sway to the rythm,
Of the music floating within the air.
It's like it's pure magic,
And as if Im the only one there.

Im keeping my focus,
As I close my eyes.
It feels like Im by the ocean,
Sitting just feet from it's tide.

It is a wonderful feeling,
Getting lost in the music,
If only I could show you,
If only you could see it.

My fingers stop,
As the melody ends.
But I cannot wait,
To play it once again.

    This reminds me of the piano when i am playing this, this is so like a poem i made, lol. deja vu i say. lol.

    The words were rather simple, but as I was reading it I could hear this almost being sung. Maybe it was, because this was about music, but the way it made me feel was.. very peaceful, like swaying to music. I think complicated words would have messed that up. This was a really great poem.
