As i recount the times, v were together, when v wld smile & cry.. when destiny smiled, then turned its face, left us high and dry...
I was immersed in total solitude, crying tears galore, my heart burned,
it seems just yday, ur comforting presence, into memories so distant turned..
I did put up a strong front, said my memories, my emotions would cease,
as I distanced myself, stopped talking to u, felt I had recovered with ease..
rubbing shoulders everyday, though wanting to, I refused to communicate..
because mentally I had prepared, however painful, to endure the wait.
Though I might be wrong, there are certain thots, I stand by forever,
like "true friends to lovers is transition smooth but lovers to friends.. never"
"only a wearer knows where the shoe pinches" I cant even say to u,
for u seem to have"been there-done that", got more than what was, your due..
ur memories wld always touch my heart and swell in my eyes like tears...
ur actions spoke" u've lost me forever", a resigned smile replaced my fears..
ur comforting presence was no longer there, leaving me in a lurch, to rise..
U seem to be better off without me..how do I live without u... advise....
