Your Eyes

by Lemonbread   Jun 20, 2008

I see a lonely boy looking for hope
And a longing love for someone
I see the tears he had to cry
As he cried long nights for his special one

I see the truth and lies
The anger but also a smile
In hope he had found her
Even if he waited for a while

I see this and much much more
On the outside though you look fine
But I can see within your eyes
What do you see in mine?

I love this, very well-written!! Every line was flawless and so well put!

I did like how in the end you put: "What do you see in mine?"

I enjoyed every line, so keep it up!

By the way, good luck with the contest! :)
