Forever and always

by JD   Jun 21, 2008

She scrawls down a dear,
and his name.
Followed with words of hate;
Loathe, and scorn.
its pure hatred;
burning off her fingers.
Her tears are staining the page.
She imagines him finding it.
Realizing his mistake.
Running into her arms.
Seeing the pain in her eyes.
Falling in love with her.
She writes cruel words;
about how he is insensitive;
A jerk and a prick.
She cries more desperately.
Scribbling her thoughts to this boy.
This silly boy.
She imagines him seeing;
the tears on the page.
She sees him then crying too;
there tears mixing;
Together.
But they will never be together.
Even she knows this.
Sobs break though her chest.
Hopelessly dying on her lips.
She sees him wrapping his arms around her.
Sorry, babe; he says.
He presses his lips to hers.
Her heart melts.
Despairing pain rips though her heart.
Shes here, not there.
She's lost.
She writes that she doesn't love him.
She doesn't cry for him anymore.
She hates him.
She shakes, cause shes wounded.
More than he will never know.
Then with a flick of the pen;
she writes ; Forever and always.
Forever she will love you.
Forever she will want you.
Forever she will need you.
Always.
But you will never know.
Because she rips out the page;
like you ripped out her heart.
She scrunched it up;
Into a tight ball of regret.
In the garbage it lives.
Destroyed, like her sanity.
like her life;
like her love;
Forever and always.
