Each Painful Memory

by Amerasian   Jun 22, 2008

Each painful memory,
Leaves a scar on my heart.
Only I can see,
How many scars are carved onto my once innocent heart.
Why must I bear the burdern,
Of remembering,
These once happy times?
Can I continue on?
Can I live,
Knowing Ill never be called yours.
I want to be satisfied,
With endless tears,
But nothing falls from my empty eyes,
Cold and iced over.
You greedy little bastard,
You get what you deserve.
You stole my heart,
And took my breath away.
Sooner or later,
I will breathe freely again,
Only to be broken down once more.
