A photograph upon my bench

by Kellie   Jun 22, 2008

Photograph upon my bench tell me, is it true?
The words I read in your last message are unequal to
My feelings that I felt for you if only you knew.

Photograph upon my bench, is it all a dream?
I read again these useless words displayed across the screen
Help me down, I'm trembling, is there something I have not seen?

Photograph upon my bench, tell me what to do?
I know I have always needed you but I thought you needed me too
The change the pain the heartbreak, all you put me through.

Photograph upon my bench, is it time for me to leave?
Your sweet and tactful tainted words that you had me believe
If only I could go back to being so naive.

Photograph upon my bench, can I do this anymore?
A soul no longer hopeful, a heart that is too sore
A knife that lies in front of me as blood drips to the floor.

Photograph upon my bench, are you judging me?
I do this to my wrist so that maybe you will see
The pain I feel inside, the pain I wish to flee.

Photograph upon my bench, is it over at last?
I know I should be stronger than this, my broken heart will pass
Emotion pushed down deep, my smile as my mask.

its so sad though, hiding feelings and pain always leads to such sadness.
